Dyldam Parramatta Eels forward Beau Scott has donned the Blue and Gold for the first time and speaking with parraeels.com.au ahead of the 2016 pre-season, the forward is looking forward to the months ahead.

“I am looking forward to getting stuck in. I am excited about meeting a fair few new faces that I have never had anything to do with before,” Scott said.

“It’s an exciting new group of players.”

The 30 year-old second-rower, who has played eight games for NSW and three for Australia will bring much leadership and experience to the Blue and Gold squad, and the seasoned campaigner was looking forward to working with the young Blue and Gold forward pack.

“I have watched a fair few of the younger guys over the last twelve months and longer, but its exciting times with real exciting young group of players coming through,” Scott said.

“They are really just starting out their NRL careers and they have a long road ahead of them.”

Apart from working with a brand new team, Scott was excited about getting back into training and working closely with Eels Head Coach Brad Arthur.

“Obviously I have met with Brad a few times, and he has real big plans. I am looking forward to getting back into training and working with him and the rest of the players.” Scott said.

“It will be good,” Scott said of having the Blue and Gold cheering him on rather than against him.

"I am looking forward to that first game at Pirtek Stadium and running out in the Blue and Gold,” he added.
