The Parramatta Eels take on the Sydney Roosters in Round 10 of the NRL Telstra Premiership, kicking off on Sunday 14 May at Allianz Stadium, playing for the Jack Gibson Cup.

Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur has named the same starting seventeen players that came away with a 26-6 victory over the North Queensland Cowboys in Round Nine with Will Smith partnering Corey Norman in the halves.

Arthur has an extended bench that includes Beau Scott, Daniel Alvaro, Kenny Edwards, Siosaia Vave, David Gower, Rory O'Brien, Bevan French and Cameron King.

For the home side, Roosters Head Coach Trent Robinson has made two changes to his side that suffered a 14-13 defeat to the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland in Round Nine.

Centre Latrell Mitchell returns to the first grade side, replacing Shaun Kenny-Dowall (stood down), whilst versatile back rower Mitchell Aubusson regains his starting side, pushing Aidan Guerra to the bench.

Historically, the Eels and Roosters head to head is split even, with 62 wins a piece. The Eels have won two of the past three meetings, however two of these clashes were at Pirtek Stadium. The Roosters however, have a strong record over the Blue & Gold in recent times, winning seven from the past ten matches.

In the last time these two sides met, in 2016, the Eels came away with a 22-18 victory over the tri-colours at Pirtek Stadium.

The NRL celebrates Indigenous Round this weekend.

Kick off is at 4pm.
