Parramatta Eels forward Suaia Matagi has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee with Grade One Tripping following the Eels Round 25 victory over the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium last night.

The charge is for an incident in the 50th minute of the clash on Broncos Kodi Nikorima.

The charge carries a base penalty $1,500 fine, but Matagi has a prior similar offence (50% loading).

Matagi's charge will be $1,650 with an early guilty plea or $2,250 if found guilty.

There were no other charges from the clash.
